LINDA LOH

SEA LIGHT

SITE #17

Sea Light is a version of Artist Linda Loh’s previous work Deep Pink, which originated from her time in New York. Using a handheld projection in the sea along the Great Ocean Road in Australia, the film reflects the precarious and ephemeral state of our environment.

Linda Loh is a visual artist from Melbourne. Since graduating from RMIT in 2012, Loh was a finalist in the Sunshine Coast New Media Award and has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions around Australia and overseas including Tasma Gallery and Blindside, among others. Loh’s video works have been shown at White Night Melbourne, Digital Graffiti and The Cube Project in the USA. Loh has completed residencies in Penang, Finland and New York City. In 2019, Loh was awarded a scholarship to the Master of Fine Art at the School of Visual Art in New York. Loh’s interests align with the ephemeral, elusive nature of experience and perception.
